Human/object distinguishing sensor

Under Development

A fabric that distinguishes between people and objects

This technology was developed by combining our proprietary water-leakage detection technology with university research results.
Since the sensor itself does not require a power supply, it can be used as a sensor in energy-saving designs.

The human/object distinguishing sensor uses conductive threads surrounded by a covering of highly water-retentive threads. By using various electromagnetic waves from daily life, this sensor can distinguish between humans and objects.

Features/performance

  • Distinguishes between humans and objects over a large area
  • Energy-saving design where the sensor itself does not require a power supply
